In this show-reel style instruction video, we see how the building blocks of Techno tracks are developed and treated through duplication and automation techniques to create a long and dynamic instrumental.
Yan was born in Kiev, Ukraine, 1991. At the young age of sixteen he was introduced to electronic music, more specifically Techno and his love for it was instantaneous. In just one year of dabbling around with software synths and teaching himself production, he had released his first EP on Beatport. Since then he has worked hard in fine tuning his stone cold, hard Techno sound with signature pounding basslines, establishing his brand. Yan has also completed some education in the culinary arts, hence the name Yan “Cook”.
